2019: The Beng Schoolhouse

and Water Filters

2019 marked the opening of the Beng Elementary School in a remote province north of Siem Reap. We co-funded this $80,000 project with the British Schools Foundation and the Trailblazers Foundation. This school was built for 480 children who, before the school was built, never had a chance for an education. 

​

In March of 2019 we traveled back to Cambodia to

spend time with the 480 school children and to deliver 800 water filters to remote villages outside of Siem Reap.  2019 also marked the start of our second Global Grant

with Rotary International. We are raising funds through December 2020 for a Global Grant to bring a second sustainable farm, clean water and sanitation to Pursat Province.
